C.F. Martin & Co. purchased The Vega Banjo company in 1970 and moved everything from Needham Massachusetts to Nazareth Pennsylvania. All of the components on this banjo were produced by Vega before the transfer. Only 561 Wonders were put out into the world before Martin ended its foray into banjo-making in 1979. This banjo is in excellent condition, neck is straight, action is excellent, minimal-to-no fretwear. This banjo was inspected here and is ready to play.
