Designed in collaboration with one of America’s finest mandolin players,  Eva Trout (aka Lady Moon or Lady Moon Cries and member of the band SHEL), this instrument draws inspiration from the century-old “old lady” she treasures, capturing the warmth and woody character of a beloved old-world instrument.

At the heart of the octave lies a Thermo-Cured solid Sitka spruce top, carefully torrefied to emulate the earthy warmth and responsiveness of a seasoned instrument. The mahogany back and sides add focus and balance, giving the Lady Moon Signature Octave the tonal tools to add depth to all your melodic expressions. The flat-top design offers a softer attack and fuller resonance, emphasizing its natural overtones.
